1.
Which private room should I choose?
This is a personal decision. Please visit the venue tour section of our
website and click around on the different rooms. Look through the photos
of different configurations in that room by clicking "Next photo"
above the photo. At the bottom of the photo is information about the rooms
facilities (e.g. CD stacker for BYO cd music, live entertainment etc.)

Can I come in earlier to decorate / setup?
Yes. Simply arrange with us in advance the time you'd like to come in.
We can store cakes in advance for you. If decorating with confetti / sprinklers,
please use sparingly.
3.
Do you decorate?
Aside from fresh floral arrangements in some rooms, we do not decorate
with balloons or banners. There would be a small charge if you would like
us to do that. Most parties however prefer to decorate themselves and
we facilitate that by giving access hours before the function.
4.
Can I bring in a DJ? Is there a dance floor?
Yes. We can recommend entertainers/DJs for you or if you have your own,
you can pass our details to them and we will arrange details with them.
There is a permanent dance floor in the Dining Room. In other rooms we
can allocate an area for dancing

Can you cater for people with special diets?
Yes. If we are not given notice, we can offer a few dishes on the night
whether they be vegetarian, lactose intolerant etc. However, if arranged
in advance, we can offer you our full vegetarian menu / special menus
for people with special food requirements

What about drinks?
We have a full range bar featuring all the most popular and rare spirits/liqueurs/beers
& wines which offers a quality range at very competitive prices.
House Alcoholic drinks
on average are $5.50 and this includes spirits such as Jim Beam / Bacardi
/ Johnnie Walker, liqueurs such as Baileys / Tia Maria / Kahlua
and beers such as VB / Tooheys New / Tooheys Dry.
When it comes to drink
costs, you are completely in control; whether you want to limit the amount
of drinks served, the type of drinks served or you want guests to pay
for themselves.
We also have an unlimited
drinks package for $20 per person. Information about this is contained
in the function package you can view on the functions page for your type
of function.
7.
I'm on a budget - can I still hold my function here?
Our most affordable 3 course buffet function menu is only $29 per person.
But please don't hesitate to contact us with your budget and what you'd
like to have. We'll put forward some menus we can do to allow you to still
hold your function at The Lighthouse.
8.
I'm not sure about all the details of my function yet? Should I still
book?
Definitely. Most people have no idea of their final number of guests or
even the menu they'd like. The important thing is to book the date in
first. All other details can be arranged later and we are known for being
the most flexible venue in Parramatta. In most cases, the number of final
guests can be confirmed two days before the function.
9.
What time do you close? What time can I start my function?
We close at 1am for functions and you can start your function at any time
of your choosing. You bring the people, we'll have staff, food & beverage
ready.
10.
This seems too simple! And there any hidden charges?
It is this simple. We've organised dinners for 80 people with just 2 days
notice! There are no hidden charges, no hidden rules. Just food, beverage
and a small room fee (if not its already included)
